2018–19 FC Porto Season
The 2018–19 season was Futebol Clube do Porto's 109th competitive season and 85th consecutive season in the top flight of Portuguese football. It began on 4 August 2018 and concluded on 25 May 2019. Porto started the season with a 3–1 victory in the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira against the 2017–18 Taça de Portugal holders, Desportivo das Aves, which secured the club's 21st Supertaça win and first since 2013. Porto led the 2018–19 Primeira Liga for more than half of the season, but lost it to Benfica on 2 March 2019, after a 1–2 home defeat. Porto finished the league as runners-up with 85 points, two points behind Benfica. 2013 Supertaça Cândido De Oliveira
The 2013 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was the 35th edition of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the annual Portuguese football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top league and cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same). It took place on 10 August 2013 at the Estádio Municipal de Aveiro in Aveiro, and was contested between Porto, the 2012–13 Primeira Liga winners, and Vitória de Guimarães, the 2012–13 Taça de Portugal winners. Played in front of a crowd of 29,100, the ''Dragões'' defeated the ''Vimaranenses'' 3–0. Portimonense Sporting Clube is a Portuguese sports club based in Portimão. Founded on 14 August 1914, it is most notable for its professional football team, which currently plays in the Primeira Liga, the top flight of Portuguese football. It also fields various youth teams and a veterans team in football, as well as teams in basketball. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA.
