2018–19 Creighton Bluejays Women's Basketball Team
The 2018–19 Creighton Bluejays women's basketball team represents Creighton University in the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Bluejays, led by sixteenth year head coach Jim Flanery, play their home games at D. J. Sokol Arena and were members of the Big East Conference. They finished the season 15–16, 8–10 in Big East play to finish in a tie for seventh place. They advanced to the semifinals of the Big East women's tournament where they lost to DePaul. Jim Flanery
James William Flanery II (born February 8, 1965) is the head women's basketball coach at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska Nebraska () is a state in the Midwestern region of the United States. Career In his first five years coaching at Creighton, the team made the WNIT three times, and the NCAA Tournament in 2012. In 2004, Creighton won the 2004 WNIT Championship. In his first season, he won 24 games, the most ever by a Creighton rookie head coach. Flanery previously served as an assistant at Creighton for 11 years. He also served as an assistant basketball coach at Loras College. Richwoods High School is the most northern of the three regular public high schools in Peoria, Illinois, United States. Opened as a township high school in 1957, it was brought into Peoria Public Schools District 150 in the 1960s. Lino Lakes is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 21,399 at the 2020 census. Interstates 35W and 35E are two of Lino Lakes's main routes. It is an outer suburb north of the Twin Cities. History When European settlers arrived, Native Americans already lived in the area where what are now called Reshanau, Baldwin, Rice and Marshan Lakes cluster. The Dakota people found this to be a land of plenty, with abundant wild rice and small game. Several Native American burial grounds are in the area. The Lipscomb Bisons women's basketball team is the women's basketball team that represents Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, United States.
