2018–19 Clarkson Golden Knights Women's Ice Hockey Season
The Clarkson Golden Knights women's ice hockey program represented Clarkson University during the 2018–19 NCAA Division I women's ice hockey season. The Golden Knights entered the season as the defending national champions as well as the ECAC regular season and tournament champions. They also entered the season as the top-ranked team in both the USCHO.com and the USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine polls for the second time. During the season, the Golden Knights participated in the first NCAA women's ice hockey games outside the United States when they traveled to Belfast for a two-game series with Northeastern. Matt Desrosiers
Matt Desrosiers is the current head coach of the Clarkson Golden Knight's women's ice hockey team. He has served in that capacity since the 2008–09 season. From 2008 until 2014, he served as co–head coach with his wife, Shannon Desroisers. Tournament History He has won three NCAA Championships in 2014, 2017 and 2018. He has appeared in three NCAA Frozen Fours. Lake Elmo, Minnesota
Lake Elmo is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, Washington County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 11,335 at the 2020 United States census, 2020 census. Quinnipiac Bobcats Women's Ice Hockey
The Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program represents Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats have competed in ECAC Hockey since the 2005-2006 season where they replaced Vermont when the Catamounts moved to Hockey East. Prior to that season the Bobcats competed in College Hockey America for the 2004-2005 season, played as a Division I Independent for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, and in the ECAC Division I Eastern division for the 2001-2002 season. The Bobcats play in the People's United Center (formerly the TD Bank Sports Center) in Hamden Connecticut. The People's United Center hosted the NCAA Women's Frozen Four in 2014 and 2019.
