The 2018–19 Borussia Mönchengladbach season was the 119th season in the football club's history and 11th consecutive and 51st overall season in the top flight of German football, the Bundesliga, having been promoted from the 2. Bundesliga in 2008. In addition to the domestic league, Borussia Mönchengladbach also participated in this season's edition of the domestic cup, the DFB-Pokal. Ibrahima Traoré (born 21 April 1988) is a professional footballer who plays as a left winger. Coming through the youth system, Traoré began his senior career with French amateur club Levallois in 2005. He moved to Germany one year later, playing for Hertha BSC's reserve team Hertha BSC II.
