2018–19 Beşiktaş J.K. Season
The 2018–19 Beşiktaş J.K. season was the club's 115th year since its foundation, 97th season of competitive football and the club's 60th season contesting the Süper Lig, the top division of Turkish football. The 2018–19 season lasted from 1 July 2018 to 30 June 2019. On 19 April 2018, Beşiktaş' Turkish Cup match against Fenerbahçe was abandoned after manager Beşiktaş Şenol Güneş was struck on the head with an object. As a result, the Turkish Football Federation ordered the remaining 32 minutes to be played behind closed doors. However, Beşiktaş refused to travel to the match after an appeal failed. Beşiktaş J
Beşiktaş () is a district and municipality of Istanbul, Turkey, located on the European shore of the Bosphorus strait. It is bordered on the north by Sarıyer and Şişli, on the west by Kağıthane and Şişli, on the south by Beyoğlu, and on the east by the Bosphorus. Directly across the Bosphorus is the district of Üsküdar. Loris Karius
Loris Sven Karius (born 22 June 1993) is a German professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. Born in Biberach, Karius began his career with Stuttgart before moving to Manchester City in 2009. After two years in Manchester City's youth system, he returned to Germany with Mainz 05. He established himself as first-choice goalkeeper for the Bundesliga side before transferring to Liverpool in 2016 for a fee of £4.75 million. Karius would go on to play in the 2018 UEFA Champions League final with the club, a 3–1 defeat to Real Madrid. Enzo Pablo Roco Roco (born Enzo Pablo Andía Roco; 16 August 1992) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a central defender for La Liga club Elche and the Chile national team. Adriano Correia Claro (born 26 October 1984), known simply as Adriano, is a Brazilian professional footballer who last played for Belgian club Eupen. Beylerbeyi is a neighborhood in the Üsküdar municipality of Istanbul, Turkey. It is located on the Asian shore of the Bosporus, to the north of the Bosphorus Bridge. Utku Yuvakuran (born 2 November 1997) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş. Professional career Yuvakuran made his professional debut with Beşiktaş in a 1–1 Turkish Cup tie with Kayserispor on 26 January 2017. Ersin Destanoğlu (born 1 January 2001) is a Turkish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Süper Lig club Beşiktaş. Trabzonspor Kulübü is a Turkish sports club located in the city of Trabzon. Formed in 1967 through a merger of several local clubs, the men's football team has won seven Süper Lig championships. Trabzonspor also have a women's football team, and used to have a men's basketball team. Trabzonspor are one of the most decorated clubs in Turkey.
