2018–19 Belgian Cup
The 2018–19 Belgian Cup, called the Croky Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 64th season of Belgium's annual football cup competition. The competition began on 29 July 2018 and ended with the final in May 2019. The winners of the competition qualify for the 2019–20 UEFA Europa League Group Stage. Standard Liège were the defending champions. Competition format The competition consists of ten rounds. Except for the semi-finals, all rounds are single-match elimination rounds. When tied after 90 minutes in the first three rounds, penalties are taken immediately. In rounds four to seven and the quarterfinals, when tied after 90 minutes first an extra time period of 30 minutes are played, then penalties are taken if still necessary. The semi-finals will be played over two legs, where the team winning on aggregate advances. The final will be played as a single match. Racing Jet Wavre
Wavre Sports FC is a Belgian association football club located in the municipality of Wavre, Walloon Brabant. It was founded in Jette, Brussels in 1944 as Racing Club Jette, and registered with the Belgian Football Association the following year under the matriculation n°4549. It merged in 1970 with Royal Stade de Bruxelles to become Racing Jet de Bruxelles. Royal Football Club de Liège (more commonly known as RFC Liège) is a professional football club based in Liège, Belgium. It currently plays in the Belgian First Amateur Division. Royal Football Club Seraing
RFC Seraing is a Belgian association football club based in Seraing in the province of Liège. They play their home games at the Stade du Pairay. History The club was founded in the early 20th century as ''RFC Bressoux'', registered with the Belgian FA under matricule 23, but renamed in 1992 to ''Royale Union Liégeoise'' or ''RUL'' after a merger. Upon the default of R.F.C. Seraing in 1996, the club again renamed itself to Seraing RUL and started playing at the Stade du Pairay where the former RFC Seraing played until its default. KRC Harelbeke is a Belgian football club based in Harelbeke, West Flanders. It is the result of the merger between the former club with the same name K.R.C. Zuid-West-Vlaanderen and K.S.V. Ingelmunster in 2002. The club was founded in 1930 as KSV Ingelmunster and played in Ingelmunster before they moved to Harelbeke in 2002.
