2018–19 Belarusian Premier League (basketball)
The 2018–19 Belarusian Premier League season is the 27th season of the top tier basketball league in Belarus. Competition format Ten teams joined the regular season, that consisted in a four-legged round-robin competition, later dividing all the teams into two groups. The six teams of the Group A and the two best of the Group B joined the playoffs. The 2017–18 Belarusian Premier League season was the 26th season of the top tier basketball league in Belarus. The Belarusian Premier League, also called The Belarusbank Premier League for sponsorship reasons or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier. 2019–20 Belarusian Premier League (basketball)
The 2019–20 Belarusian Premier League season was the 28th season of the top tier basketball league in Belarus. The season started on 21 September 2019, the season was suspended after 14 March 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. A concluding Final Four tournament was organised in September 2020. Tsmoki-Minsk defended its title. Competition format Ten teams joined the regular season, that consisted in a four-legged round-robin competition, later dividing all the teams into two groups.
