The 2018–19 season was AS Monaco FC's sixth consecutive season in Ligue 1 since promotion from Ligue 2 in 2013. Association Sportive de Monaco Football Club SA, commonly referred to as AS Monaco () or Monaco, is a professional football club based in Monaco that is member of French Football Federation (FFF) and competes in Ligue 1, the top tier of French football. Radamel Falcao García Zárate (born 10 February 1986) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as a forward for La Liga club Rayo Vallecano and often captains the Colombia national team. Terence Kongolo (born 14 February 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ligue 2 club Le Havre, on loan from club Fulham. A product of the Feyenoord youth system, he made his Eredivisie debut for them during the 2011–12 season, remaining there until 2017, when he signed for Monaco. 2012–13 Ligue 2
The 2012–13 Ligue 2 season was the 74th season since its establishment. The league schedule was announced in April 2012 and the fixtures were determined on 30 May. The season began on 27 July and ended on 24 May 2013. The winter break was in effect from 22 December to 12 January 2013. In addition, German sportswear company Uhlsport became the official provider of match balls for the season after agreeing to a long-term partnership with the Ligue de Football Professionnel. Teams There were three promoted teams from the Championnat National, replacing the three teams that were relegated from Ligue 2 following the 2011–12 season. The 2019–20 season was Monaco's seventh consecutive season in Ligue 1 since promotion from Ligue 2 in 2013. Monaco finished the season in ninth position, on 1.43 points per game, after the season was ended on 30 April by the Ligue de Football Professionnel due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France.
