The 2018–19 season was the 92nd season in ACF Fiorentina's history and their 81st in the top-flight of Italian football. Having finished 8th the previous season, Fiorentina competed only in Serie A and in the Coppa Italia. The season was coach Stefano Pioli's second in charge of the club. ACF Fiorentina
ACF Fiorentina, commonly referred to as Fiorentina (), is an Italian professional football club based in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. The original team was founded by a merger in August 1926, while the actual club was refounded in August 2002 following bankruptcy. Fiorentina have played at the top level of Italian football for the majority of their existence; only four clubs have played in more Serie A seasons. MŠK Žilina () is a Slovak football club based in the town of Žilina, that is playing in the Slovak Superliga.
