2018 V.League 2
The 2018 V.League 2 (referred to as An Cường V.League 2 for sponsorship reasons) is the 24th season of V.League 2, Vietnam's second tier professional football league. The season began on 14 April 2018 and will finish on 29 September 2018. The season started with 10 clubs. Vietnamese First Division
V.League 2 or Vietnamese National Football First League, ( vi, Giải Bóng đá Hạng Nhất Quốc Gia Việt Nam), also called LS V.League 2 for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier professional association football league in Vietnam controlled by the Vietnam Professional Football. V.League 2 has 12 teams competing in this season. Format Initially the V.League 2 comprised 14 clubs. Starting in the 2022 season, only 12 teams will participate in the V.League 2. Over the course of a season, clubs play a two-leg round-robin format over 22 rounds with a total of 132 matches. The club finishing at the bottom of the league table will be relegated to the Vietnam League Two while the top 2 clubs will be promoted to the V.League 1. Tự Do Stadium or Sân vận động Tự Do is located in the center of Huế City, Thừa Thiên–Huế Province, Vietnam. It has a capacity of 25,000 seats. Huế () is the capital of Thừa Thiên Huế province in central Vietnam and was the capital of Đàng Trong from 1738 to 1775 and of Vietnam during the Nguyễn dynasty from 1802 to 1945.
