2018 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships
The 2018 U.S. National Gymnastics Championships is the 55th edition of the U.S. National Gymnastics Championships. The competition was held from August 16–19, 2018 at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Competition schedule The competition featured Senior and Junior competitions for both women's and men's disciplines. TD Garden
TD Garden is a multi-purpose arena in Boston, Massachusetts. It is named after its sponsor, TD Bank, a subsidiary of the Toronto-Dominion Bank of Toronto, Ontario. It opened in 1995 as a replacement for the original Boston Garden and has been known as FleetCenter, and TD Banknorth Garden. The arena is located directly above the MBTA's North Station. Skye Blakely
Skye Amiel Blakely (born February 4, 2005) is an American artistic gymnast. She was a member of the teams who won gold at the 2022 World Championships, silver at the 2022 Pan American Championships, and bronze at the inaugural Junior World Championships. She is the younger sister of gymnast Sloane Blakely. Early life Blakely was born to Steven and Stephanie Blakely in 2005 in Dallas, Texas and has one sibling. Gymnastics career Junior Elite 2018 In early 2018 Blakely competed at the Buckeye National Qualifier and the WOGA Classic, where she placed sixth in the all-around. Grace McCallum
Grace Ann McCallum (born October 30, 2002) is an American artistic gymnast. She represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal in the team event. She is the 2018 Pan American and 2018 Pacific Rim individual all-around champion, the 2018 Pan American uneven bars champion, and was a member of the U.S. gymnastics team that won gold at the 2018 and 2019 World Championships and the 2018 Pan American Championships. United States Women's National Gymnastics Team
The United States women's national artistic gymnastics team represents the United States in FIG international competitions. Currently, the U.S. team is the reigning World team champion and the reigning Olympic team silver medalists, with the four gymnasts nicknamed the "Fighting Four". History The U.S. women won the team competition bronze medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics. Afterwards, they did not win another Summer Olympics or World Championships medal until the 1984 when the Olympic team won silver. During that competition, Mary Lou Retton also became the first American to win the individual all-around gold medal. Riley Austin Loos (born October 6, 2000) is an American artistic gymnast. He was a member of the gold medal-winning team at both the 2018 and 2022 Pan American Championships. He is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team and currently competing in collegiate gymnastics for Stanford. Personal life Loos was born in Folsom, California on October 6, 2000, to Greg and Stephanie Loos. He has two sisters. Brandon Robert Briones (born April 29, 2001) is an American artistic gymnast. He is the 2018 Youth Olympic vault champion and was a reserve athlete for the 2020 Olympic men's gymnastics team. Alex Diab
Alexander Michael Diab (born April 25, 1997) is an American artistic gymnast. He is a still rings specialist and is a member of the United States men's national gymnastics team. He was an alternate for the 2020 Summer Olympics. Diab was a member of Illinois Fighting Illini men's gymnastics team from 2016 to 2019, where he won 44 career event titles, and set a program record with 31 career still rings titles. A member of the United States men's national gymnastics team, he represented the United States at the 2018 American Cup and the 2017 Cottbus World Cup. Yul Kyung-Tae Moldauer (born August 26, 1996) is an American artistic gymnast. He is the 2017 U.S. national all-around champion and the 2017 World bronze medalist on floor exercise.
