The 2018 Tour du Haut Var was the 50th edition of the Tour du Haut Var cycle race and was held on 17–18 February 2018. The race started in Le Cannet-des-Maures and finished in Flayosc. The race was won by Jonathan Hivert. Jonathan Hivert (born 23 March 1985) is a French professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career In 2013, Chambray-lès-Tours-born Hivert won the general classification of the 2.1 event Étoile de Bessèges. He was 3 seconds in arrears of Jérôme Cousin of before the final time trial, and he finally got the first position after besting Cousin by 7 seconds on the stage. Alexis Vuillermoz (born 1 June 1988) is a French road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career He was originally a mountain bike racer before switching to road cycling, winning the French national under-23 mountain bike title twice and riding as part of the French national team that took the team relay title at the 2008 Mountain Bike World Championships. Rudy Molard (born 17 September 1989) is a French road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Molard spent 5 years with before moving to in 2017. The 2017 Tour du Haut Var was a road cycling stage race that took place on 18 and 19 February 2017. The race was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2017 UCI Europe Tour, and was the 49th edition of the Tour du Haut Var. Just as it was in 2016, the overall race victory was decided upon cumulative stage finishes, after nine riders finished both stages in the same time. With stage finishes of second and third, Arthur Vichot took honours in both the general classification and the points classification for the team. The Tour du Haut Var ( en, Tour of the Haut Var) is an early-season two-day road bicycle race in the Var department region in the south of France. Until 2008 it was run as a one-day race, part of the UCI Europe Tour. In 2009, the race transformed to a 2.1 event, raced over two days. Flayosc (; Provençal: ''Flaiòsc'') is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in southeastern France.
