The 2018 Takhti Cup, were held in the Greco-Romane style in Mahshahr 25–26 January 2018; the men's Freestyle style in Tabriz 8–9 February 2018 in Iran. This tournament was held as 38th. It was held as the first of the ranking series of United World Wrestling, it is only men's Greco-Roman ranking. Mahshahr
Bandar-e Mahshahr ( fa, بندرماهشهر) is a city and capital of Mahshahr County, Khuzestan Province, Iran. Mahshahr has two universities. Islamic Azad University of Mahshahr and Amirkabir University of Technology, Mahshahr campus. Both universities concentrate on engineering programs, especially petroleum and petrochemical engineering. Demographics Most of its people spoke a dialect that was a mixture of Southern Luri and Bushehri, that is still spoken by some elderly people and by younger generations mostly in rural area (the dialect though still thrives in Hendijan and especially Genaaveh). But now Mahshahrians are mainly Persian-speaking. Local Persians are mostly of Behbahani, Qanavati, and Bandari families. Omid was a data-processing satellite for research and telecommunications; Iran's state television reported that it was successfully launched on 2 February 2009.
