2018 Saskatchewan Roughriders Season
The 2018 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 61st season for the team in the Canadian Football League. It was the club's 109th year overall, and its 103rd season of play. The Roughriders improved upon their 10–8 record from 2017 with a 12–6 record and qualified for the playoffs for the second consecutive year. The team hosted the first ever playoff game at the new Mosaic Stadium, but lost to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the West Semi-Final. This was the third season under head coach and general manager Chris Jones. The club held their training camp at Griffiths Stadium in Saskatoon, for the sixth consecutive season, with the main camp beginning on May 20. The Roughriders became the first team to defeat the Calgary Stampeders in the 2018 regular season with a 40–27 win on August 19. Canadian Football League West Division
The West Division is one of the two regional divisions of the Canadian Football League (CFL), its counterpart being the East Division (CFL), East Division. Although the CFL was not founded until 1958, the West Division and its clubs are descended from earlier leagues. The five teams in the West Division are the BC Lions, Calgary Stampeders, Edmonton Elks, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Zach Minter
Zach Minter (born November 6, 1990) is a Canadian football defensive tackle. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2013. He went to Cactus High School, and he later on played college football at Montana State University. He has also been a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Cincinnati Bengals, BC Lions, and Calgary Stampeders. Early years He went to Cactus High School. He attended Montana State University. Jeff Knox
Jefferson B.A. Knox is an American golfer. Knox is a member of Augusta National Golf Club, where he holds the course record with an 11-under 61 off the member's tees. Knox is considered to be the best amateur golfer in the state of Georgia. Personal life Knox was born in Thomson, Georgia. He attended Thomson High School, and the University of Georgia, where he earned a degree in finance in 1984. Duron Christopher Carter (born March 22, 1991) is an American professional Canadian football defensive back who is currently a free agent. He was initially a member of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) as a wide receiver and has also played for the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Toronto Argonauts, BC Lions, Edmonton Elks. Hamilton Tiger Cats
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Zach Collaros
Zachary J. Collaros (born August 27, 1988) is an American professional Canadian football quarterback for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Collaros won the 107th Grey Cup and 108th Grey Cup as the starting quarterback with the Blue Bombers when they defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in both games. Jovon Johnson (born November 2, 1983) is a former professional Canadian football defensive back. He was the winner of the CFL's Most Outstanding Defensive Player Award in 2011 while with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, becoming the first defensive back to win the award in the league. The 2017 Saskatchewan Roughriders season was the 60th season for the team in the Canadian Football League. It was the club's 108th year overall, and its 102nd season of play. Kevin Glenn, Jr. (born June 12, 1979) is a former American professional Canadian football quarterback.
