2018 SAFF Championship Final
The 2018 SAFF Championship Final is a football match that took place on 12 September 2018 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, Dhaka. It was announced that the matches during the tournament, including the final, would take place at the Bangabandhu nation stadium, Dhaka. The Maldives came out 2–1 winners against India to secure their second SAFF Championship. 2018 SAFF Championship
The 2018 SAFF Championship, also known as 2018 SAFF Suzuki Cup for sponsorship reasons, was the 12th edition of the SAFF Championship, the biennial international men's association football, football championship of South Asia organized by South Asian Football Federation, SAFF. It was initially scheduled to be hosted by Bangladesh in December 2017, but later rescheduled to 4–15 September 2018. Host selection On 2 January 2016, SAFF executive committee made a decision that Bangladesh would host the 2017 SAFF Championship at a meeting held in Trivandrum, India. Maldives and Bhutan made bids to host the games but the latter withdrew its bid. This was the third SAFF Championship hosted by Bangladesh, after victory in the 2003 South Asian Football Federation Gold Cup, 2003 edition and semi finalists in 2009 SAFF Championship, 2009. Salam Ranjan Singh
Salam Ranjan Singh (born 4 December 1995) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for I-League club TRAU. Career Born in Kha-Potshangbam, Manipur, Singh started playing football as a striker, before being converted into a central defender by his coach, Shiband Sir. In 2010, during an All-Manipur Inter District tournament, Singh impressed Maniratnam, a coach who worked with the Directorate of Youth and Sports Affairs.
