The 2018 Polish Speedway season was the 2018 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2018 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 4 August at Leszno. Piotr Pawlicki Jr. won the Polish Championship. Golden Helmet The 2018 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2018 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Piła on the 19 kwietnia. Jarosław Hampel won the Golden Helmet. The 2017 Polish Speedway season was the 2017 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2017 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 2 July at Gorzów. Szymon Woźniak won the Polish Championship. Kacper Woryna
Kacper Woryna (born 31 August 1996) is a Polish Speedway rider. Biography Born in Rybnik Woryna began racing in his native Poland in the Ekstraliga, with hometown club Rybnik. After a few years of riding in Poland, Woryna got his first break into British Speedway riding with the Coventry Bees during the 2016 Elite League season, who beat off competition from his grandfathers former club the Poole Pirates to secure his signature. Woryna was recommended to the Bees management by club captain and Speedway Grand Prix rider Chris Harris, and was also given a big thumbs up by another of his new Coventry teammates, former world number 2 Krzysztof Kasprzak. The following season he joined Poole and helped the team win the SGB Premiership 2018. In 2022, he helped Smederna win the Swedish Speedway Team Championship during the 2022 campaign. Dominik Kubera (born 15 April 1999) is an international speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career Kubera won a bronze and silver medal at the World Under 21 Championship in 2019 and 2020 respectively. He had previously won the 2018 Individual Speedway Junior European Championship. Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Jarosław Hampel
Jarosław "Jarek" Hampel (; born 17 April 1982 in Łódź, Poland) is a Polish Speedway rider. He was a participant of the FIM Speedway Grand Prix in 2007 and 2010. He received his speedway license in 1998 with the Polish team Polonia Piła, although he first started racing on a mini-track in Pawłowice, close to the city of Leszno. In 2010 and 2013, he won silver medals in the Speedway World Championships ( Grand Prix Series), and in 2011, he won the bronze medal. In 1999 he won a bronze medal at the Individual U-19 European Championship as well as a bronze medal at the Individual U-21 World Championship in 2000 and a gold medal in 2003. He has started in the Speedway Grand Prix since 2000, and became a regular starter from 2004. Maksym Drabik (born 22 February 1998) is an international speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career Drabik won the gold medal at the World Under-21 Championship in the 2017 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship and the 2019 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship.
