Tokyo Tatsumi International Swimming Center
is a swimming venue in Kōtō, Tokyo, Japan. The swimming centre has hosted several Japanese swimming championships. History The swimming complex was designed by the Environment Design Institute, a Tokyo architecture firm. It was commissioned by the Bureau of Port and Harbour, a unit of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. The building is built largely of steel-reinforced concrete except for the roof, which is a steel pipe space-truss structure. The structural design was by Kozo Keikaku Engineering. Robert Finke
Robert Finke (born November 6, 1999) is an American swimmer. He won two gold medals for the United States in the 2020 Summer Olympics: the men's 800-meter and 1500-meter freestyle swims. Finke is known to his friends by the nickname, Bobby. He currently swims for the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. Before swimming in college, Bobby swam for Coach Fred Lewis on the Saint Petersburg Aquatics club team (also known as SPA), located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. Career Early career At 14 years old, Finke broke the Florida Age Group State Championships (FLAGS) 800m freestyle meet record with a time of 8:25.20. Air Commodore Peter Malam "Pete" Brothers, (30 September 1917 – 18 December 2008) was a Royal Air Force fighter pilot and flying ace of World War II. Brothers was credited with 16 aerial victories, 10 of which he achieved during the Battle of Britain. Jeremy Bagshaw (born 21 April 1992) is a Canadian swimmer and medical student. He competed in the men's 400 metre freestyle event at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships placing 16th. Training at the University of California-Berkeley, Bagshaw swam for the California Golden Bears Men's swimming team, helping bring them many victories. In 2014 he was named team captain, and the Bears brought home the NCAA's championship. He is currently the fastest 400m freestyler in Canada, holding the time of 3:48.88.
