2018 North Queensland Cowboys Season
The 2018 North Queensland Cowboys season was the 24th in the club's history. Coached by Paul Green and co-captained by Johnathan Thurston and Matthew Scott, they competed in the NRL's 2018 Telstra Premiership. The team finished the regular season in 13th position and did not qualify for the finals. 2018 NRL Season
The 2018 NRL season was the 111th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 21st season run by the National Rugby League. The main competition, known as the 2018 Telstra Premiership due to sponsorship from Telstra, featured 16 teams playing 25 weekly rounds of matches from March until September, resulting in the top eight teams playing a series of finals matches to determine which two teams reached the 2018 NRL Grand Final. Teams The lineup of teams remained unchanged for the 12th consecutive year. Pre-season The 2018 pre-season featured the 2018 World Club Challenge match with the NRL premiers Melbourne Storm defeating the Super League champions Leeds Rhinos. Mitchell Dunn (born 3 February 1997) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who currently works as a coach for the North Queensland Cowboys. Dunn played six seasons in the National Rugby League (NRL) for the North Queensland club, predominately at . Gideon Gela-Mosby (born 27 December 1996) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who last played for the North Queensland Cowboys in the NRL. Background Born in Cairns and of Torres Strait Islander descent, Gela-Mosby grew up on the tiny Darnley Island in the Torres Strait. Shaun Fensom (born 10 October 1988) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a and forward in the 2000s and 2010s. He played for the Canberra Raiders, North Queensland Cowboys and the Brisbane Broncos in the NRL. Frank Burge
