New York Red Bulls
The New York Red Bulls are an American professional soccer club based in the New York metropolitan area. The Red Bulls compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member of the Eastern Conference. The club was established in October 1994 and began play in the league's inaugural season in 1996 as the New York/New Jersey MetroStars. In 2006, the team was sold to Red Bull GmbH and re-branded as part of the company's global network of soccer clubs, hence its current name. The Red Bulls have played their home matches at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey since 2010, having previously played at Giants Stadium. New York Red Bulls Academy
The New York Red Bulls Academy is the multi-layered youth system of the New York Red Bulls. It is the first cost-free program in Major League Soccer that provides a professional soccer training environment for youth players in the New York Tri-State. The soccer programs are operated as part of a global approach to player development. Through a partnership with Southern New Hampshire University, players are able to pursue their education while continuing to play professionally. There are several levels which make up the pyramid. Thomas Redding (born January 24, 1997) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender. Club career Orlando City Born in San Diego, California and growing up in Oviedo, Florida, Redding began his youth career with IMG Soccer Academy and Chicago Magic PSG in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy. Connor Lade (born November 16, 1989) is an American former professional soccer player. As a utility player, he played several positions during his professional career, most commonly as a right back. Lade currently serves as the Senior Manager of Alumni & Player Relations for the New York Red Bulls. Kevin Politz (born March 22, 1996) is an American soccer player. Career Youth Politz was born in New Haven, Connecticut, but grew up in the Morganville section of Marlboro Township, New Jersey, where he attended Marlboro High School and was a member of the New York Red Bulls Academy. He was also a member of the US Soccer residency program at IMG Academy.
