The 2018 Le Castellet GP3 Series round was a motor racing event held on 23 and 24 June 2018 at the Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, France. It was the second round of the 2018 GP3 Series, and ran in support of the 2018 French Grand Prix. Circuit Paul Ricard
The Circuit Paul Ricard () is a French motorsport race track built in 1969 at Le Castellet, Var, near Marseille, with finance from pastis magnate Paul Ricard. Ricard wanted to experience the challenge of building a racetrack. The circuit has hosted the FIA Formula One French Grand Prix intermittently from to , and every year from to as well as from to . History First years (1970–1990) Opened on 19 April 1970, the circuit's innovative facilities made it one of the safest motor racing circuits in the world at the time of its opening. The circuit had three track layout permutations, a large industrial park and an airstrip. Campos Racing
Campos Racing is a Spanish motor racing team, founded by former Formula One driver Adrián Campos. The team has been successful in Formula Three and the GP2 Series. History After retiring from racing, Campos formed his own team at the end of 1997, under the name Campos Motorsport. In 1998 the team began by competing in the new Open Fortuna by Nissan, with Marc Gené and Antonio García as drivers. Gené won the championship and García finished fifth, with Campos taking the teams title. Gené stepped up to Formula One in , and his place in the team was taken by karting driver Fernando Alonso. Career Karting Menchaca began karting in 2006 at the age of eight, competing in championships across Mexico and the United States. Gabriel "Gabi" Aubry (born 3 April 1998) is a French racing driver currently racing in the World Endurance Championship for Vector Sport.
