2018 Konduga Bombings
On Friday 16 February 2018, a triple suicide bombing occurred in Konduga, Borno State, northeastern Nigeria. Two suicide bombers detonated their explosives at a busy fish market at about 8:30pm. Four minutes later, a third bomber exploded nearby. The attacks killed between 17 and 22 people and injured between 22 and 70. One of the bombers was female, while the other two were male. Konduga
Konduga is a community in Borno State, Nigeria and the center of a Local Government Area of the same name about 25 km to the southeast of Maiduguri, situated on the north bank of the Ngadda River. The population of the Konduga Local Government Area is about 13,400. It is one of the sixteen LGAs that constitute the Borno Emirate, a traditional state located in Borno State, Nigeria. The primary languages are Shuwa Arabic, Kanuri Maffa and Wandala / Malgwa. It is the birthplace of Senator Kaka Mallam Yale. History By 6300 BP, pottery began to appear in Konduga. Occurring in the era of Mega Lake Chad, the pottery was decorated in the custom of Saharan ceramics. Borno State

A suicide attack is any violent attack, usually entailing the attacker detonating an explosive, where the attacker has accepted their own death as a direct result of the attacking method used. Kawuri Massacre
The Kawuri massacre happened on 26 January 2014 in Kawuri, a village in Konduga Local Government Area, 37 kilometers southeast of Maiduguri in Borno State, northeastern Nigeria. February 2014 Konduga Massacre
The Konduga massacre took place in Konduga, Borno State, Nigeria on 11 February 2014. The massacre was conducted by Boko Haram Islamists against Christian villagers. At least 62 people were killed. 2019 Konduga Bombings
On the evening of 16 June 2019, three suicide bombers detonated their explosives in Konduga village in Borno State, Nigeria, killing 30 people and wounding over 40. The first bomber targeted football fans who were watching a game on television in the hall. He was blocked from entering the hall by the owner. A heated argument ensued, during which the bomber detonated his explosives. This attack was the most deadly suicide bombing in 2019 in Nigeria. Soon after, the other two - both of whom were female - blew themselves up nearby. Konduga had suffered previous attacks, including massacres in January 2014 and in February 2014, a triple suicide bombing in February 2018 and a suicide bombing at a mosque in July 2018.
