The 2018 Kansas City Royals season was their 50th season for the franchise, and their 46th at Kauffman Stadium. American League Central
The American League Central is one of Major League Baseball's six divisions. This division was formed in the realignment of 1994 by moving three teams from the American League West and two teams from the American League East. Michael Christopher Moustakas (; born September 11, 1988) is an American professional baseball infielder who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals, Milwaukee Brewers, and Cincinnati Reds. Moustakas was drafted in the first round (second overall) of the 2007 MLB draft by the Royals. During games he is often greeted by calls of "Moose", a nickname given by his little league coach along with fans and the media. The Lexington Legends are an American professional baseball team based in Lexington, Kentucky. They are a member of the South Division of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball, a "partner league" of Major League Baseball. He was drafted by the Atlanta Braves with the seventh overall pick in the 2009 MLB draft.
