The 2018 Italian Basketball Supercup ( it, Supercoppa di pallacanestro 2018), also known as Zurich Connect Supercoppa 2018 for sponsorship reasons, was the 24th edition of the super cup tournament, organized by the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). AX Armani Exchange Milano were the defending champions. AX Armani Exchange Milano went to win his 3rd Supercup by beating Fiat Torino 82–71 in the Finals. Vladimir Micov was named MVP of the competition. The 2017–18 Lega Basket Serie A, was the 96th season of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), known for sponsorship reasons as the Serie A PosteMobile, which is highest-tier level professional basketball league in Italy. The regular season started on October 1, 2017, and ended on May 9, 2018, with the playoffs started on May 12 (due to some Italian clubs, Reggio Emilia, Avellino and Venezia, are qualifying for the 2018 EuroCup Playoffs and the 2018 Champions League Playoffs) and finished on June 15, 2018. As in previous years, Molten Corporation provided the official ball for all matches. Umana Reyer Venezia were the defending champions. Awudu Abass Abass (born 27 January 1993) is a naturalized Italian professional basketball player for Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague.
