2018 IIHF World Championship Division III
The 2018 IIHF World Championship Division III was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. It was held in Cape Town, South Africa and the qualification tournament in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina after the original hosts, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, withdrew their application. Georgia won the tournament and were promoted to Division II. Kuwait and Turkmenistan made their debut in the World Championships, with both playing in the qualification tournament. Turkmenistan won their first ever game in the World Championships, defeating the United Arab Emirates and later went on to win the qualification and be promoted to next year's Division III. 2017 IIHF World Championship Division III
The 2017 IIHF World Championship Division III was an international ice hockey tournament run by the International Ice Hockey Federation. It was contested in Sofia, Bulgaria from 10 to 16 April 2017. Seven teams participated in the tournament, divided into two groups. Bosnia and Herzegovina was originally scheduled to participate, but withdrew before the tournament began; all their games were recorded as 5–0 forfeits for the opposing team. Luxembourg won the tournament, defeating Bulgaria 10–4 in the final, and played in Division IIB in 2018. Chinese Taipei debuted in Division III and, apart from defeating Bosnia and Herzegovina in a forfeit, recorded their first official win, beating the UAE 4–0 in the 5th place playoff. King Ho (ice Hockey)
Hu Jinquan (29 April 1932 – 14 January 1997), better known as King Hu, was a Chinese film director and actor based in Hong Kong and Taiwan. He is best known for directing various ''wuxia'' films in the 1960s and 1970s, which brought Hong Kong and Taiwanese cinema to new technical and artistic heights. Liao Yu-cheng (; born 4 September 1980 in Taoyuan County (now Taoyuan City), Taiwan) is a former Taiwanese professional baseball player who played for the Brother Elephants of Chinese Professional Baseball League. Liao was a submarine pitcher and was given the nickname Golden Submarine due to Brother Elephant's yellow uniform. Early life In senior high school Liao was originally an outfielder until the team's pitching coach noticed him throw a 93 mph fastball and encouraged him to become a pitcher.
