2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship Qualification (AVC)
The AVC qualification for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship saw member nations compete for four places at the finals in Italy and Bulgaria. Pools composition 23 AVC national teams entered qualification. But, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan later withdrew and India later were excluded because of FIVB's suspension of the Volleyball Federation of India. Subzonal round Central Asia decided to hold the subzonal round with the bottom five ranked teams in Central Asia from the FIVB World Ranking as of October 2015. But, Afghanistan and Turkmenistan later withdrew. Rankings are shown in brackets. Zonal round The top three ranked teams in Central Asia from the FIVB World Ranking as of October 2015 automatically qualified for the zonal round. The Asian Volleyball Confederation, commonly known by the acronym AVC, is the continental governing body for the sports of indoor, beach, and grass volleyball in Asia and Oceania. Bishkek
Bishkek ( ky, Бишкек), ), formerly Pishpek and Frunze, is the capital and largest city of Kyrgyzstan. Bishkek is also the administrative centre of the Chüy Region. AIS Arena
AIS Arena is a multi-purpose arena in Canberra, Australia. Its capacity is 5,200 and it was built in 1980. The arena was opened by the Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Fraser, on 26 January 1981 and was originally named the National Indoor Sports Centre and was the inaugural home of the Australian Institute of Sport. History The arena was designed by Philip Cox & Partners. Architectural features include a 1200 tonne suspended concrete panel roof supported by 12 steel masts and 36 mainstay cables. The roof has a span of 100.4 metres. The stadium is partly set into the ground to reduce its scale and to establish a visual connection between the landscape and the mast and cable structure of the roof. Iran Standard Time (IRST) or Iran Time (IT) is the time zone used in Iran. Iran uses a UTC offset UTC+03:30. Nakhon Pathom ( th, นครปฐม, ) is a city (''thesaban nakhon'') in central Thailand, the former capital of Nakhon Pathom province. One of the most important landmarks is the giant Phra Pathommachedi.
