2018 FC Kairat Season
The 2018 FC Kairat season is the 8th successive season that the club playing in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Kazakhstan, since their promotion back to the top flight in 2009. Kairat will participate in the Kazakhstan Super Cup and the Europa League as well as the Kazakhstan Cup and Premier League. FC Kairat
Football Club Kairat ( kk, Qaırat Fýtbol Klýby) is a professional association football, football club based in Almaty, which plays in the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest level of Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football. Founded in 1954 as Lokomotiv Alma-Ata, they became Urozhay in 1955 and Kairat in 1956. The club's home ground is the Central Stadium (Almaty), Central Stadium which has a capacity of 23,804. The club's home kit colours are yellow and black striped shirts, black shorts and black socks. Kairat was the leading Kazakh club during the Soviet period and the only representative of the Kazakh Soviet Socialist Republic in the Soviet Top League. Stas Aleksandrovich Pokatilov (russian: Стас Александрович Покатилов; born 8 December 1992) is a Kazakh footballer who plays for Aktobe. Career On 30 December 2014, Pokatilov signed a two-year contract with FC Aktobe. On 26 February 2016, FC Rostov announced they had signed Pokatilov. On 4 July 2016, Pokatilov signed for FC Kairat on loan until the end of the 2016 season. At the end of the season 2016, Pokatilov moved to Kairat on a permanent deal from Rostov, signing a three-year contract on 13 December 2016. Sergey Eduardovich Politevich or Siarhey Eduardavich Palitsevich ( be, Сяргей Эдуардавіч Паліцевіч; russian: Сергей Эдуардович Политевич; born 9 April 1990) is a Belarusian professional football player currently playing for Dinamo Minsk. International Politevich was part of the Belarus U21 team that finished in 3rd place at the 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship. Stanislav Lunin
Stanislav Olegovich Lunin (russian: Станислав Олегович Лунин; 2 May 1993 – 2 June 2021), also known as Islam Dalaev, was a Kazakh professional footballer who played as a right-back. Career On 20 June 2014, Lunin moved from Shakhter Karagandy to FC Kairat, on a 2.5-year contract. Lunin left Kairat on 29 December 2018 at the end of his contract. Aybol Yerbolatuly Abiken ( kk, Айбол Ерболатұлы Әбікен, ''Aibol Erbolatūly Äbıken''; born 1 June 1996) is a Kazakhstani footballer who plays as a defender and is currently banned after testing positive Meldonium. Career Club Abiken made his professional debut for FC Kairat in the Kazakhstan Premier League on 29 April 2017, coming on as a substitute in the 87th minute for Bauyrzhan Islamkhan in the match against FC Akzhayik, which finished as a 4–1 home win. Sheldon Bateau (born 29 January 1991) is a Trinidadian professional footballer who plays as a central defender for S.K. Beveren on loan from Turkish club Samsunspor. FC Irtysh Pavlodar ( kk, Ертіс Футбол Клубы, ''Ertis Fýtbol Klýby'') was a Kazakh professional football club based at the Central Stadium in Pavlodar.
