Club Deportivo Universidad Católica is a professional football club based in Santiago, Chile. Founded in 1937 they play in the Primera División, the top flight of Chilean football. The team has played its home games at Estadio San Carlos de Apoquindo since 1988. Universidad Católica has won the third most league championships at a national level. Yerco Abraham Oyanedel Hernández (born 19 September 2000) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Chilean club Cobresal. Benjamín Kuscevic Jaramillo (; born 2 May 1996) is a Chilean footballer who currently plays as centre-back for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Fortaleza, on loan from Coritiba. Career Universidad Católica Kuscevic joined Universidad Católica's youth setup in 2011, from Unión Española. After progressing through the youth setup, he signed a professional contract with the club in 2013. Club Universitario de Deportes, popularly known as Universitario or simply as La "U", is a Peruvian football club located in Lima. The club was founded in 1924 under the name Federación Universitaria by students of the National University of San Marcos but was forced to rename in 1931. Cristián Andrés Álvarez Valenzuela (born 20 January 1980) is a Chilean former footballer, who played as a defender. Club career Universidad Catolica As a child, Álvarez and his twin brother, Iván, played at Escuela de Fútbol Municipal de Curicó (Municipal Football Academy of Curicó), later named Juventud 2000, founded by their father Luis Hernán. He arrived in 1993 to prove to Universidad Católica next to his twin brother Iván, after the pickers of the UC saw him play in a championship in his native Curicó. He spent three years traveling to Santiago to train and play for the Crusaders, it was not until 1996 that he finally moved to live in Santiago.
