2018 CERH European Championship
The 2018 Rink Hockey European Championship, also named as EuroHockey 2018, was the 53rd edition of the Rink Hockey European Championship, a biennial tournament for men's national roller hockey teams of Europe organised by World Skate Europe - Rink Hockey, which took place between 14 and 22 July in A Coruña, Spain. Spain won the tournament and took its seventeenth title overall. Teams Eleven teams joined the tournament. Andorra, Belgium and Netherlands joined the other eight teams from the previous edition. This had the highest number of participants since 1994. Venue All the games of the tournament took place at Pazo dos Deportes de Riazor Pazo dos Deportes de Riazor is a multi-purpose sports arena in A Coruña, Galicia, Spain. A Coruña (; es, La Coruña ; historical English: Corunna or The Groyne) is a city and municipality of Galicia, Spain. The 2008 Rink Hockey European Championship was the 48th edition of the Rink Hockey European Championship—the biennial rink hockey competition for European national teams, supervised by CERH—that took place in the Spanish city of Oviedo, at the local arena ''Palacio de los Deportes'' ( en, Sports Palace), on July 21–26, 2008. In a final against long-time rivals, Portugal, the hosts and holders Spain won their fifth consecutive European title. 2014 CERH European Championship
The 2014 CERH European Championship was the 51st edition of the CERH European Roller Hockey Championship, a tournament for men's national roller hockey teams organized by CERH which took place in Alcobendas, Spain. Italy won the tournament and took its third title overall. It began on 14 July and concluded on 19 July, with a single group stage played to determine the winner. It was the eighth time that Spain has hosted the competition, the first being in 1951 (in the city of Barcelona). The national teams of five countries qualified automatically to participate with the host nation Spain in the final tournament. A total of 15 matches were played in the Pabellón Amaya Valdemoro, situated in Alcobendas. With the host country, two European champion teams since the first European Championship in 1926 — Italy and Portugal — have entered this competition. The 1953 Roller Hockey World Cup was the ninth roller hockey world cup, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes (now under the name of Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports). It was contested by 13 national teams (11 from Europe, 1 from Africa and for the first time, 1 from South America) and it is also considered the 1953 European Roller Hockey Championship (despite the presences of Egypt and Brazil). All the games were played in the city of Geneva, in Switzerland, the chosen city to host the World Cup. The 1939 Roller Hockey World Cup was the second roller hockey world cup, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes (now under the name of Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports). It was contested by 7 national teams (all from Europe) and it is also considered the 1939 European Roller Hockey Championship and the 1939 Montreux Nations Cup.
