Dharan
Dharan ( ne, धरान) a sub-metropolitan city in Sunsari District of Province No. 1, Nepal, which was established as a fourth municipality in the Kingdom in 1958. It is the third most populous city in Eastern Nepal after Biratnagar and Itahari. Three Star Club is a Nepali professional football club based in Patan, Lalitpur, that competes in the Qatar Airways Martyr's Memorial A-Division League, the top flight of Nepalese football. The club was previously known as the ''Laxmi Bank Three Star Club'' and ''Ruslan Three Star Club'' for sponsorship reasons. Nepal Police Club (formerly known as Mahendra Police Club) is a sports club owned and managed by Nepal Police. The club competes in the Martyr's Memorial A-Division League, the top flight of Nepali club football. 2017 Budha Subba Gold Cup
The 2017 Budha Subba Gold Cup is the 19th edition of the Budha Subba Gold Cup held in Dharan, Nepal, Dharan and organised by Redbull . 10 teams participated in the tournament. The defending champions Manang Marshyangdi Club did not participate. All matches were held at the ANFA Technical Center Dharan-17. In total, eight teams from Nepal participated in the tournament and were joined by two teams from India. United Sikkim FC from Gangtok, Gangtok, India was also supposed to play in this tournament but had to withdraw due to a "technical problem". It was replaced by Kanchanjunga FC.
