2018 All-Australian Team
The 2018 Virgin Australia All-Australian team represents the best performed Australian Football League (AFL) players during the 2018 AFL season, 2018 season. It was announced on 29 August as a complete Australian rules football team of 22 players. The team is honorary and does not play any games. Dayne Beams
Dayne Beams (born 12 February 1990) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He also previously played for, and captained, the Brisbane Lions during the 2017 season, however he stepped down as captain during the 2018 season due to personal issues. He retired in October 2020 due to personal issues. Early life Beams was born in Yarrawonga and moved with his family to the Gold Coast at four years of age. Lachlan Whitfield (born 18 July 1994) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). Callan Ward
Callan Ward (born 10 April 1990) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played for the Western Bulldogs from 2008 to 2011. Ward received a nomination for the 2009 AFL Rising Star award in round 18 of the 2009 season. Steele Sidebottom (born 2 January 1991) is a professional Australian rules football player currently playing for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League. Scott Pendlebury (born 7 January 1988) is a professional Australian rules footballer playing for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
