The 2018 Mexican Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 25th edition of the men's tournament (18th for the women), and part of the 2018 ATP World Tour and the 2018 WTA Tour. It took place in Acapulco, Mexico between 26 February and 3 March 2018, at the Princess Mundo Imperial. Hardcourt
A hardcourt (or hard court) is a surface or floor on which a sport is played, most usually in reference to tennis courts. It is typically made of rigid materials such as asphalt or concrete, and covered with acrylic resins to seal the surface and mark the playing lines, while providing some cushioning. Historically, hardwood surfaces were also in use in indoor settings, similar to an indoor basketball court, but these surfaces are rare now. Ričardas Berankis (; born June 21, 1990) is a Lithuanian professional tennis player.
