2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy Group A
The 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy was the 16th season of the Vijay Hazare Trophy, a List A cricket tournament in India. It was contested by the 28 domestic cricket teams of India. The following seven teams were drawn in Group A: Assam, Baroda, Haryana, Karnataka, Odisha, Punjab and Railways. Krishnappa Gowtham
Krishnappa Gowtham (born 20 October 1988) is an Indian cricketer who played for Karnataka. He made his international debut for India in July 2021. His father M. Krishnappa represented Karnataka in kabaddi. Career Gowtham's professional career began when he was picked for the under-15 Zonal Tournament in Bangalore where he emerged as the second-highest wicket-taker. He played his first Ranji Trophy game for Karnataka in November 2012, against Bengal, and picked up two wickets, both in the second innings. In the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy season, Gowtham picked up two consecutive five-wicket hauls, against Delhi and Assam, helping his team win both the games. Vineet Anil Kulkarni (born 6 October 1979) is an Indian cricket umpire. Kulkarni made his debut as an umpire in both List A and first-class cricket in 2009. He served on the ICC International Panel of Umpires in the on-field category and officiated in 25 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 14 Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is). KSCA Cricket Ground
The Three Ovals KSCA Stadium, also known as KSCA Cricket Ground, Alur and Alur Cricket Ground, is a cricket venue in Alur, a settlement on the outskirts of Bangalore, India. The venue has three cricket grounds called Platinum Oval, Golden Oval and Silver Oval. The 30 acres land for the facility was acquired in early-2000s by KM Ramprasad, who was the president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) during that time. The facility hosted its first official match in 2011, with the Royal Challengers-KSCA Academy moving to the venue soon after. In 2013, KSCA inaugurated the facility's Platinum Jubilee Pavilion which serves as a common pavilion for Golden and Silver Ovals. The facility has 22 practice pitches, and an indoor practice provision.
