San Martín De San Juan
Club Atlético San Martín, mostly known as San Martín de San Juan, is an Argentine football club from the city of San Juan. The team currently plays in the Argentine Primera B Nacional, the second division of the Argentine football league system. It was founded on 27 September 1907 and is considered the best club of the San Juan Province. History Before 2015, San Martín had only played four seasons in the Argentine top flight. Its first appearance was in the 1970 ''Nacional'' championship, finishing bottom of the group after winning only four of 20 games. It again played in the Argentine First Division in the 2007–08 season, being relegated immediately the next season. The squad gained the promotion to the first division for the third time during the 2010–11 season, after beating Gimnasia y Esgrima (LP) 1–0 and later 1–1 on aggregate in the play-off for the second automatic promotion place. Carlos Martín Luque (born 1 March 1993) is an Argentine footballer who plays for C.D.S. Vida in Honduras as a left winger. Club career Born in Las Varillas, Córdoba, Luque joined Colón's youth setup in 2001, aged eight. He made his first team – and Primera División – debut on 13 March 2011, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 0–4 home loss against Racing Club. Álvaro Fernández (; born 11 October 1985) is a Uruguayan footballer. He currently plays as a midfielder for Plaza Colonia. Career Club Fernández began his career with Atenas de San Carlos. His performances for Atenas led him to sign for Montevideo Wanderers in 2007. In his one season with Wanderers Fernández appeared in 27 league matches scoring 1 goal. Club Atlético Juventud is a sports club from Las Piedras, Canelones in Uruguay. CA Juventud won promotion to the Primera División Uruguaya to start in August 2007. History The club was born from a group of youths from Las Piedras, Uruguay who played soccer at San Isidro Catholic school. On December 24, 1935 the boys arrived at school expecting to play (as always having arranged the match the day before), but when they got there the priests had forbidden it as they were preparing a big nativity crèche set on the field. Angry, the students, among them Carlos Maria Cabrera (who would later become the first president of the club) met in the town square and decided to found the club on Christmas Eve 1935, in rebellion against the priests.
