2017–18 Macedonian Second Football League
The 2017–18 Macedonian Second Football League was the 26th season of the Macedonian Second Football League, the second division in the Macedonian football league system. The fixtures were announced on 7 August 2017. The season began on 27 August 2017 and concluded on 19 May 2018. It's the first season since 1999–2000 with the new format, which as the league is divided into two groups, East and West, with 10 teams participating in each group. FK Belasica
FK Belasica () is a professional association football, football club based in the city of Strumica, North Macedonia. They are currently competing in the Macedonian Second Football League, Macedonian Second League. History The club was founded on 22 April 1922 at the cafe of Tašo Todorov, where fifty initiators gathered at the founding meeting for the football club Belasica Strumica. According to documents, the first meeting was held on 13 August 1922 with Gjorgi Moskov elected president, Tomi Kujundziev as secretary and Rosto Perov as treasurer. The first match played in club history was against Pobeda from Skopje, where Belasica lost by the score of 1–0. Their popular nickname is Kangaroos and their best period was the golden 80s when they won the Macedonian Republic championship twice. FK Borec
FK Borec () is a football club from Veles, North Macedonia. They currently play in the Macedonian Third League. History The club was founded in 1919. FK Borec played in the Macedonian First League from the 1992–93 through the 1994–95 season. The club was promoted to the First League again following the 1996–97 season. It has produced many players, among the best are: Zoran Paunov, Ilčo Borov, Panche Stoilov and Panche Kjumbev. Supporters The supporters group Gemidžii is named after the anarchistic group who have committed the bombings in Thessaloniki on 1903. Earlier, the fans were known as Vampiri (Vampires). Valandovo
Valandovo ( ) is a small town in southeastern North Macedonia. The city is the seat of Valandovo Municipality. Radoviš
Radoviš ( ) is a city in the Southeastern statistical region, southeastern part of North Macedonia. It is the second largest city in the southeastern region. Kočani ( ) is a town in the eastern part of North Macedonia, situated around east from Skopje. It has a population of 24,632 as of 2021 and is the seat of the Kočani Municipality. City Stadium Štip () is a multi-purpose stadium in Štip, North Macedonia. It is mostly used for football (soccer), football matches and is currently the home stadium of FK Bregalnica Štip. Blagoj Istatov Stadium is a football stadium in Strumica, North Macedonia. With the last reconstruction in 2017 the stadium has a capacity of 9,200 seats, and it is a third-class field in accordance with UEFA standards.
