The 2017–18 season is Liverpool Ladies Football Club's 29th season of competitive football and its eighth season in the FA Women's Super League and at the top level of English women's football, being one of the league's foundation clubs. Following a reorganisation of top-level women's football in England, the 2017–18 season was the first after the FA WSL shifted its calendar to match the traditional autumn-to-spring axis of football in Europe. Liverpool is a city and metropolitan borough in Merseyside, England. Siobhan Chamberlain
Siobhan Rebecca Chamberlain (born 15 August 1983) is an English sports pundit, commentator, and former professional footballer who last played as a goalkeeper. She joined Manchester United in 2018 after playing for Liverpool. Before joining Liverpool in December 2015, she had been at Notts County on loan from Arsenal. Chamberlain previously played at the top club level for Chelsea, Fulham, Birmingham City and Bristol Academy, as well as for North American W-League club Vancouver Whitecaps. Laura Coombs (born 29 January 1991) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Women's Super League club Manchester City and the England national football team. A hard-working defensive midfielder, Coombs is described by former teammate Gilly Flaherty as "a real grafter and she'll put in the work that some people don't want to do." Kate Longhurst
Kate Leanne Longhurst (born 2 May 1989) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder or wing-back for West Ham United in the FA WSL. Club career Longhurst began her career with Colchester United. In the 2007–08 season, she scored 15 goals in 21 appearances. The following season, she scored 3 goals in 11 appearances. Sophie Louise Ingle (born 2 September 1991) is a Welsh footballer who plays for the FA WSL club Chelsea and is the captain of the Wales national team. She has previously represented Bristol Academy, Cardiff City, and Liverpool. Ingle plays as either a defender or defensive midfielder. Satara Melonie Murray (born 1 July 1993) is a Jamaican professional footballer who plays as a defender for Racing Louisville of the American National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).
