2017–18 FC Krasnodar Season
The 2017–18 FC Krasnodar season was the seventh successive season that Krasnodar played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia. They finished the season in 4th place, and as a result of FC Tosno failing to obtain a UEFA licence for there 2018–19 UEFA Europa League Group Stage spot, qualified directly for the Groups Stage of the UEFA Europa League. Krasnodar were also knocked out of the Russian cup at the round of 32 stage by FC Tom Tomsk and the knocked out of the 2017–18 UEFA Europa League at the playoff round stage by Red Star Belgrade. FC Krasnodar
FC Krasnodar is a Russian professional football club based in Krasnodar that plays in the Russian Premier League. The club was founded in 2008. In 2009, the club was promoted to the Russian First Division, the second highest division of the Russian football league system, despite finishing Zone South of Second Division in third. At the end of the 2010 season, they were promoted to the Russian Premier League for the 2011 season, despite finishing fifth in the first division. In 2013, FC Krasnodar began the construction of the 35,074-seat Krasnodar Stadium which was opened on 9 October 2016. Until the stadium was completed, FC Krasnodar continued playing their home matches in the Kuban Stadium. FC Tosno
FC Tosno (russian: ФК Тосно) was a professional Russian football club based in Tosno. On 6 May 2017, Tosno won promotion to the 2017–18 Russian Premier League for the first time after securing second place in the Russian National Football League. They were relegated after one season at the top level. On 9 June 2018 it was announced that FC Tosno was dissolved because of financial problems. History ''FC Tosno'' was officially registered in 2008 by Leonid Khomenko, then director of 'FC Era'. In 2009, FC Tosno and another amateur club, 'Ruan', were merged. Oleg Aleksandrovich Shatov (russian: Олег Александрович Шатов; born 29 July 1990) is a Russian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Ural Yekaterinburg. Pavel Konstantinovich Mamayev (russian: Павел Константинович Мамаев; born 17 September 1988) is a Russian former footballer who played as midfielder. He primarily played as a right midfielder or central midfielder. At CSKA Moscow he played as a defensive midfielder or deep-lying playmaker.
