2017–18 Essex Senior Football League
The 2017–18 Essex Senior Football League season was the 47th in the history of Essex Senior Football League, a football competition in England. The constitution for Step 5 and Step 6 divisions for 2017–18 was announced on 26 May 2017. The constitution for the Essex Senior League was ratified at the league's AGM on 22 June, although Ilford were expelled for missing deadlines and fines. The club were readmitted to the league on 17 July following an appeal. Essex Senior Football League
The Essex Senior Football League is an English men's football league. It contains clubs from the Essex FA, Hertfordshire FA, London FA, Middlesex FA and the Amateur Football Alliance. It is a feeder league to Division One North of the Isthmian League and has a single division which sits at Step 5 (or Level 9) of the National League System. Founder members The Essex Senior League was formed in 1971 with nine founder members. The finishing positions for the 1971–72 season were as follows: Promotion and relegation The Essex Senior League states that a club must finish in the top 3 to be considered for promotion to the Isthmian League Division One North. However the process is governed by the FA Leagues Committee who regulate relegations and promotions throughout the National League System. Hullbridge is a village, civil parish and electoral ward in the Rochford district of Essex in east England. The 2018–19 season was the 76th season in the history of Eastern Counties Football League, a football competition in England. The season saw Division One divided into two sections. Histon were champions, winning their second Eastern Counties Football League title and returned to the Isthmian League after two years in the Eastern Counties League. 2018–19 Isthmian League
The 2018–19 season was the 104th season of the Isthmian League, which is an English football competition featuring semi-professional and amateur clubs from London, East and South East England. This was also the first season to consist of four divisions after the league reorganised the former South Division into the new South Central and South East divisions. The league was also known as the Bostik League under a sponsorship deal with Bostik. Premier Division At the end of the previous season a new step 3 division was created under the Southern Football League, while number of clubs in the Premier divisions were reduced to 22 for this season. Leyton () is a town in east London, England, within the London Borough of Waltham Forest. One believes the village's name was a corruption from the "Teg-Ley" of sheep clearing.
