The 2017–18 season was Al-Faisaly's 8th consecutive season in Pro League, the top flight of Saudi Arabian football, and their 64th year in existence. Along with the Pro League, the club also competed in the Crown Prince Cup and the King Cup. The season covered the period from 1 July 2017 to 30 June 2018. Al-Faisaly FC
Al-Faisaly FC ( ar, نادي الفيصلي) is a Saudi Arabian football team playing in the Saudi Professional League, based in Harmah City with a population of around 15,000 people. The club is named after King Faisal (r. 1964–75); he was crown prince at the time of the club's founding. History Al-Faisaly finished as the runner-up in the 2005–06 first division season, thus becoming the first club from the Sudair region to achieve promotion to the top flight but went straight back down after just one season. Al-Faisaly achieved promotion for the second time to the top flight by winning the 2009-10 first division title, and have been competing in the Saudi Professional League until they were relegated in the 2021–22 campaign after twelve consecutive seasons in the top flight. Saudi Crown Prince Cup
The Saudi Crown Prince's Cup ( ar, كأس ولي العهد) was the Saudi Arabian annual cup competition. It was the oldest domestic football competition in Saudi Arabia, its first edition was held in 1956–57, but was not crowned from 1975 until 1990. The competition consists of teams from the top two tiers of Saudi league football (Professional League and First Division League), as well as the competition runs from August until February. Al-Hilal have won the most titles with 13 wins, also Al-Hilal has contested more finals with 17. Al-Ittihad is the last champion being the winner of 2016–17 season. Mohammed Abousaban
Mohammed Abusaban ( ar, محمد أبو سبعان; born 20 January 1990), is a Saudi footballer who plays as central midfielder for Al-Hazem. Career Abousaban started his career at the youth teams of Hajer. On 4 July 2007, Abousaban joined Al-Ittihad. He was promoted to the first team in 2010 and made his debut in the league match against Al-Shabab on 11 May 2011. During the 2011–12 season, Abousaban started to be included into the squad more often and eventually became a first-team player. Hamad Fares Al Mansour ( ar, حمد فارس آل منصور; born August 19, 1993) is a Saudi Arabian professional footballer who plays as a winger and full-back for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr. Al-Ahli Saudi Football Club ( ar, النادي الأهلي السعودي) is a Saudi Arabian professional football club based in Jeddah, that competes in the second division of Saudi Arabian football, following their relegation from the Saudi Professional League in the 2021–22 season.
