The 2017–18 AC Sparta Prague season was the club's 123rd season in existence and the 25th consecutive season in the top flight of Czech football. In addition to the domestic league, AC Sparta Prague participated in this season's editions of the Czech Cup and the UEFA Europa League. Emanuel Mariano Insúa Zapata (born 10 April 1991) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as a left back for Vélez Sarsfield. Career Born in Buenos Aires, Insúa was a Boca Juniors youth graduate. He made his professional debut on 25 April 2012, coming on as a late substitute in a 1–1 away draw against Olimpo, for the season's Copa Argentina. Martin Hašek (born 3 October 1995) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Greek Super League 2 club Makedonikos. Lukáš Štetina (; born 28 July 1991) is a Slovak professional footballer who currently plays for Slovak club Spartak Trnava. He was a member of the Slovakia U21 and is currently a member of the broader squad of Slovakia. Matěj Pulkrab (born 23 May 1997) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a forward for Mladá Boleslav. Club career Sparta Prague Pulkrab is an academy graduate of Sparta Prague and captained the club at U-19 level. In 2015, he was named "Player of the Tournament" in the CEE Cup. Václav Kadlec (born 20 May 1992) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a forward for Viktoria Žižkov. Club career Kadlec made his debut in the Czech First League on 25 October 2008 for AC Sparta Prague against 1. FK Příbram. He scored his first league goal at the age of 16.
