The 2017 Yale Bulldogs football team represented Yale University in the 2017 NCAA Division I FCS football season, winning the Ivy League title. The season marked the Bulldogs' 145th overall season. The team played its home games at Yale Bowl in New Haven, Connecticut and were led by sixth-year head coach Tony Reno. They finished the season 9–1 overall and 6–1 in Ivy League play to become Ivy League champions for the first time since 2006 (when they shared the title) and to earn their first sole league title since 1980. Tony Reno (American Football)
Anthony "Paul Reno (born February 9, 1974) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach at Yale University, a position he has held since 2012. Early life and education A native of Oxford, Massachusetts, Reno graduated from Oxford High School (Massachusetts), Oxford High School in 1993. Later that year, he enrolled at Hobart and William Smith Colleges in Geneva, New York, but soon transferred to Worcester State College in his home state of Massachusetts. Reno played football at the free safety position for the Worcester State Lancers football, Worcester State Lancers until 1996, under Brien Cullen. Reno graduated a year later in 1997. He would return to the school and complete a Master of Education in health education in 2000. The 2017 Holy Cross Crusaders football team represented the College of the Holy Cross as a member of the Patriot League during the 2017 NCAA Division I FCS football season. Holy Cross was led by 14th-year head coach Tom Gilmore for the first seven games of the season before he was fired following a 2–5 start. Memorial Field is a football stadium located in Hanover, New Hampshire, United States. It is the home of Dartmouth Big Green football and outdoor track teams. The athletic teams at Dartmouth College compete in the Ivy League. In 1893, Dartmouth alumni built a football field called Alumni Oval in the southeastern part of the campus. The field's original wooden grandstand, which backed up on Crosby Street, burned in 1911. In 1923, the College built Memorial Field, with a brick-faced concrete stand and press box on Crosby Street. Coffey Field
Jack Coffey Field is a 7,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in the northeast United States, located on the campus of Fordham University in The Bronx, New York. It is the Fordham Rams' home for football, men's and women's soccer, and baseball. The facility opened for baseball in 1930, and was named in 1954 for baseball coach and longtime athletic director Jack Coffey, four years before his 1958 retirement. Starting in 1964, students began using the left field and center field area for their club football team. The team was sponsored by the students themselves and it was these same students who rented temporary wooden stands, to be set around the gridiron, for the 1964 and 1965 seasons.
