Kayla Mack (born May 9, 1989) is a Canadian rugby union player. She represented at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup. She made her international debut at the 2011 Nations Cup The 2011 Nations Cup (also known as the Carling Nations Cup after its headline sponsor) was a round-robin football tournament between the Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland, and Wales national teams. Laura Russell
Laura Russell (born November 10, 1988) is a Canadian rugby union player. Rugby career Laura and her sister Kelly, represented at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup. They were also in the squad that toured New Zealand in June 2014. In 2016, she was named the Rugby Canada Senior Women's Player of the Year. She took over the captaincy of the national team from her sister Kelly Russell. Russell also represents the national women's sevens team on the Rugby Canada Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour Working Group which was established on July 17, 2020. In 2022, Laura married long term partner, Ray Barkwill. Barkwill also played for Rugby Canada from 2012-2019. In 2022, Russell was initially named in Canada's squad to the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand. She was later ruled out of the tournament due to an injury. Nomads Rugby
The Toronto Nomads Rugby Club is one of Canada's oldest rugby clubs. The Toronto Nomads are one of six clubs that formed the Toronto Rugby Union and the Ontario Rugby Union in 1950. Training in downtown Toronto, the Toronto Nomads boast three senior men's teams, two senior women's and seven junior squads, running from minis to U18. The senior women's team currently plays in the Ontario Women's League, while the senior men's team currently play in the Marshall Championship, the senior division of Ontario Rugby Union. Cindy Nelles (born August 19, 1993) is a Canadian rugby union player who plays lock for Canterbury of the Farah Palmer Cup and the Canada women's national rugby union team. She has played for her national side at the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup, where she won a silver medal as an injury replacement, and the 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup.
