The Sydney Flames are an Australian professional basketball team based in Sydney, New South Wales. The Flames compete in the Women's National Basketball League The Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) is the pre-eminent professional women's basketball league in Australia. Townsville RSL Stadium
The Townsville Stadium (previously Townsville RSL Stadium) is a multi-purpose indoor venue located at the Murray Sporting Complex in Annandale, Queensland. The facility features an international standard wooden sports floor, multi-purpose function rooms, a public gym, stadium administration and the Townsville City Council. The Stadium, which opened in 2011, is owned and operated by the City of Townsville, has a total spectator capacity of 2,500 (1,700 seated) and is the home court of the Townsville Fire ( WNBL). Tessa Rose Lavey (born 29 March 1993) is an Australian professional basketball player for the Bendigo Spirit of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) and an Australian rules football player with the Richmond Football Club in the AFL Women's competition (AFLW). Antonia "Toni" Farnworth (née Edmondson) (born 10 May 1987) is a New Zealand professional basketball player for the Ringwood Hawks of the NBL1 South. She has spent most of her career playing in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) in Australia and has been a long-time representative and captain of the New Zealand national team, the Tall Ferns. Samantha Allison Whitcomb (born July 20, 1988) is an American-Australian professional basketball player for the Perth Lynx of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) and the New York Liberty of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Aimie Rocci ( née Clydesdale; born 21 September 1993) is an Australian basketball player who currently plays for the Southside Flyers in the Women's National Basketball League. Professional career WNBL Rocci made her Women's National Basketball League debut in 2010, for the Dandenong Rangers. She has since remained a consistent member of their roster. Stephanie Blicavs (née Cumming; born 26 July 1990) is an Australian professional basketball player. Career WNBL Raised in Dandenong and playing for Rangers junior team, Blicavs joined the WNBL squad in 2006. She then gained a scholarship Australian Institute of Sport and joined the WNBL team. The Perth Lynx are an Australian professional basketball team based in Perth, Western Australia. The Lynx compete in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) and play their home games at Bendat Basketball Centre.
