2017 Toyota Premier Cup
The 2017 Toyota Premier Cup was the 7th Toyota Premier Cup. It's a single-game cup competition organized by the Toyota and Football Association of Thailand. It features SCG Muangthong United the winners of the 2016 Thai League Cup and Sanfrecce Hiroshima as an invited team from the 2016 J1 League (Japan). Francisco Jiménez Tejada (born 26 June 1986), known as Xisco, is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a striker. After beginning his career with Deportivo, he signed in 2008 with Newcastle United, but could only make 11 official appearances for the club during his spell (one goal), also being loaned twice during his contract. He left the latter in January 2013 and returned to his country, going on to spend four seasons with Córdoba and winning promotion to La Liga in 2013–14. Wattana Playnum ( th, วัฒนา พลายนุ่ม; born August 19, 1989), simply known as Mike ( th, ไมค์), is a Thai professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder. Club career Wattana Playnum played for Nakhon Sawan during 2009-10. In the next season, he was bought by Paknampho NSRU and played there during 2011-12. Subsequently, Phil Stubbins, Ayutthaya head coach at that time, brought him to join Ayutthaya in 2013. Chanathip Songkrasin ( th, ชนาธิป สรงกระสินธ์, ; born 5 November 1993), also known as Jay ( th, เจ, ), is a Thai professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for J1 League club Kawasaki Frontale and the Thailand national team. Tristan Do ( th, ทริสตอง โด, born 31 January 1993) is a Thai professional footballer who plays as a right back for Thai League 1 club Bangkok United and the Thai national team. Naoaki Aoyama
is a Japanese retired football player. His playing position is centre-back. He has previously played for Japanese sides Shimizu S-Pulse, Yokohama F. Marinos and Ventforet Kofu as well as Thailand's Muangthong United. Club career After graduating from Maebashi Ikuei High School in 2004, Aoyama signed full professional terms with Shimizu S-Pulse the following year and went on to become a regular first team starting member, playing 121 league games in 6 seasons in Shizuoka. He transferred to Yokohama F. Pedro Mario Álvarez Abrante (born 2 February 1982), commonly known as Mario, is a Spanish retired professional footballer as a central defender. Club career Born in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Mario started his senior career with Atlético Madrid, but could only represent its C and B-teams.
