2017 TCR International Series Sakhir Round
The 2017 TCR International Series Sakhir round was the second round of the 2017 TCR International Series season. It took place on 15–16 April at the Bahrain International Circuit. Roberto Colciago won the first race starting from third position, driving a Honda Civic Type-R TCR, and Dušan Borković gained the second one, driving an Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. Ballast Due to the results obtained in the previous round, Davit Kajaia received +30 kg, Attila Tassi +20 kg and Pepe Oriola +10 kg. A last minute BOP adjustment was announced after qualifying, meaning the Opel Astra TCRs engine power was adjusted down from 100% to 95%. Both the Audi RS3 LMS TCRs and SEAT León TCRs using a DSG gearbox was given -10mm in ride height, running at 70mm from the minimum 80mm in ride height. Bahrain International Circuit
The Bahrain International Circuit ( ar, حلبة البحرين الدولية, Ḥalba al-Baḥrayn ad-Dawliyya) is a motorsport venue opened in 2004 and used for drag racing, GP2 Series (now FIA Formula 2), and the annual Formula One Bahrain Grand Prix. The 2004 Grand Prix was the first held in the Middle East. Beginning in 2006, Australian V8 Supercars raced at the BIC, with the event known as the Desert 400. The Alfa Romeo Giulietta (Type 940) is a small family car (C-segment) manufactured and marketed by Alfa Romeo as a 5-door hatchback. Giacomo Altoè (born 5 October 2000) is an Italian Lamborghini racing driver. Having previously competed in the Italian F4 Championship and TCR Middle East Series amongst others. Racing career Altoè began his career in 2015 in Karting. In 2016 he switched to the Italian F4 Championship making his circuit racing debut, during the season he took six points finishes, on his way to finishing twenty-second in the standings. Ferenc Ficza Jr. (born 13 May 1996) is a Hungarian racing driver currently competing in the European Touring Car Cup. He previously competed in the TCR International Series and SEAT León Eurocup.
