The 2017 Swiss Open Gstaad (also known as the 2017 J. Safra Sarasin Swiss Open Gstaad for sponsorship reasons) was a men's tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts. It was the 50th edition of the Swiss Open, and part of the ATP World Tour 250 Series of the 2017 ATP World Tour. It took place at the Roy Emerson Arena in Gstaad, Switzerland, from 24 July through 30 July 2017. ATP World Tour 250 Series
The ATP 250 tournaments (previously known as the ''ATP World Tour 250'' tournaments, ''ATP International Series'', and ''ATP World Series'') are the lowest tier of annual men's tennis tournaments on the main ATP Tour, after the four Grand Slam (tennis), Grand Slam tournaments, ATP Finals, ATP Tour Masters 1000, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and ATP 500 tournaments.
