2017 Real Monarchs Season
The 2017 Real Monarchs season is the club's third season of existence, and their third season in the United Soccer League. Background Real Monarchs finished the 2016 season with 10 wins, six draws and 14 losses. They finished 11th in the Western Conference and failed to qualify for the playoffs. Real Monarchs
Real Monarchs is a professional soccer club playing in the MLS Next Pro, a third division league of American soccer. The team is owned by, and operates as the reserve team of, the Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake. While the senior club is based, and plays, in Rio Tinto Stadium, Sandy, Utah, Real Monarchs SLC are based in the Real Salt Lake training facility in Herriman, Utah, playing out of Zions Bank Stadium. In 2017, Real Monarchs won the USL Regular Season Championship, the equivalent in the second division of the Supporters Shield. In 2019, Real Monarchs won their first outright USL Championship, defeating two-time champions Louisville City FC 3–1 at Dr. Mark & Cindy Lynn Stadium, Louisville, Kentucky. José Hernández (footballer, Born 1996)
José Hernández (born 12 April 1996) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Phoenix Rising FC of the USL Championship. Career Hernandez spent the last two years of his youth career with Real Salt Lake's youth academy in Arizona. On 5 February 2015, it was announced that Hernandez signed a letter of intent to play college soccer at UCLA. On 22 March, he made his professional debut with RSL's USL affiliate club Real Monarchs SLC in a 0–0 draw against LA Galaxy II. Hernandez was able to maintain his college eligibility despite appearing for Real Monarchs and on August 29, he made his collegiate debut in the Bruins 1–0 victory over New Mexico. Portland Timbers 2 is an American professional soccer team based in Portland, Oregon. The team, often referred to as "T2", serves as the reserve squad for the Portland Timbers of Major League Soccer (MLS). The team was a member of the USL Championship from 2015 to 2019, and was in the second tier of the United States soccer pyramid beginning in 2016. Sacramento Republic FC is an American professional soccer team based in Sacramento, California, that plays in the Western Conference of the USL Championship, the second level in US soccer. Daniel Bram Haber (born May 20, 1992) is a Canadian retired soccer player who played as a forward.
