The 2017 Polish Speedway season was the 2017 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2017 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 2 July at Gorzów. Szymon Woźniak won the Polish Championship. Golden Helmet The 2017 Golden Golden Helmet ( pl, Turniej o Złoty Kask, ZK) organised by the Polish Motor Union (PZM) was the 2017 event for the league's leading riders. The final was held at Zielona Góra on the 20 April. Przemysław Pawlicki won the Golden Helmet. The 2016 Polish Speedway season was the 2016 season of motorcycle speedway in Poland. Individual Polish Individual Speedway Championship The 2016 Individual Speedway Polish Championship final was held on 1 July at Leszno. Patryk Dudek won the Polish Championship. Krystian Pieszczek
Kristian Pieszczek (born 23 September 1995) is a Polish speedway rider. Career Born in Gdańsk, Pieszczek first had success as a junior in 2007. He made his Polish league debut in 2011 for Wybrzeże Gdańsk, going on to ride for the club in the Ekstraliga in 2012. He won the Bronze Helmet in 2012 and 2013, and in 2013 was also part of the victorious Polish team in the European Junior Championships. In 2015 he moved to Falubaz Zielona Góra. After finishing seventh in 2014, in 2016 he finished runner-up (to Max Fricke) in the World Under-21 Championship, won the Silver Helmet competition, and finished fourth in the Polish Individual Speedway Championship. He was also part of the Polish team that won the 2016 Speedway World Cup. He rode for GKM Grudziądz in Poland and Lejonen in the Swedish Elitserien in 2017, but after a disappointing season he embarked on an intensive training regime over the winter of 2017/18. Paweł Przedpełski (born 23 June 1995) is a speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career He rode in the top tier of British Speedway riding for the Leicester Lions in the SGB Premiership 2017. He currently rides for Apator Toruń in Poland. He is three times winner of the Team Speedway Junior World Championship in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Krzysztof Kasprzak
Krzysztof Kasprzak (; born 18 July 1984 in Leszno, Poland) is an international speedway rider who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles. He is a son of former Polish national speedway team member Zenon Kasprzak. Brother Robert is also a speedway rider. Piotr Protasiewicz (born 25 January 1975 in Zielona Góra, Poland) is a Polish international speedway rider. Career He has ridden for the Polish national team in the Speedway World Cup in 1996 and 2005. He was also World U-21 Champion in 1996. Maksym Drabik (born 22 February 1998) is an international speedway rider from Poland. Speedway career Drabik won the gold medal at the World Under-21 Championship in the 2017 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship and the 2019 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship. In 2021, he was banned for breaking anti-doping rules (vitamin injection) by the Polish Doping Agency, the ban was back dated from 30 October 2020 (when he was initially suspended) to the 30 October 2021. Kacper Gomólski (; born 2 March 1993 in Gniezno, Poland) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider. Career Gomólski, the younger brother of fellow Speedway rider Adrian Gomólski and son of Jacek Gomólski began his Polish Speedway career in 2008, racing for hometown club Start Gniezno who he rode for until 2011.
