2017 NCAA Fencing Championships
The 2017 NCAA Fencing Championships took place from March 23 to March 26 in Indianapolis, Indiana at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The tournament went into its 28th consecutive NCAA Fencing Championships, and featured twenty-seven teams across all divisions. Single-elimination Tournament
A single-elimination, knockout, or sudden death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. Each winner will play another in the next round, until the final match-up, whose winner becomes the tournament champion. Detroit Mercy Titans
The Detroit Mercy Titans (formerly known as the Detroit Titans) are the athletic teams of University of Detroit Mercy. The University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I.
