2017 Lory Meagher Cup
The 2017 Lory Meagher Cup was the ninth staging of the Lory Meagher Cup hurling championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 2009. It is the fourth tier of senior inter-county championship hurling. Louth, the 2016 champions, play in the Nicky Rackard Cup having won promotion. Cavan returned to senior inter-county hurling in 2017 by entering The Lory Meagher Cup. They had disbanded midway through the 2011 season. Leitrim GAA
The Leitrim County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) ( ga, Cumann Lúthchleas Gael Coiste Chontae Liatroma) or Leitrim GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Leitrim. The county board is also responsible for the Leitrim inter-county teams. Brewster Park (Enniskillen)
Brewster Park is a GAA stadium in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. It is the home ground of the Enniskillen Gaels and the County ground of Fermanagh GAA. The ground was renovated in 2007 and now has a capacity of roughly 18,000. The ground was named for Mickey Brewster, a Fermanagh and Enniskillen Gaels player and father of Paul Brewster. In the first match played in Brewster Park since the renovations, Fermanagh defeated Monaghan in the first round of the Ulster Senior Football Championship on Sunday, May 26, 2008 by a score of 2–8 to 0–10. Floodlights were installed in the ground in 2008 and were used in the 2008 Ulster Senior Club Football Championship final between Ballinderry and Crossmaglen. Cavan
Cavan ( ; ) is the county town of County Cavan in Ireland. The town lies in Ulster, near the border with County Fermanagh in Northern Ireland. The town is bypassed by the main N3 road that links Dublin (to the south) with Enniskillen, Ballyshannon and Donegal Town (to the north). Breffni Park, known for sponsorship reasons as Kingspan Breffni, is a GAA stadium in Cavan, Ireland. It is the home of Cavan GAA. The ground has an overall capacity of about 25,030 with a 5,030 seated capacity. Breffni is the historic name for area of Cavan/ Leitrim. Cavan is often referred to as the Breffni County.
