2017 Hammarby Fotboll Season
The 2017 season was Hammarby Fotboll's 102st in existence, their 48th season in Allsvenskan and their 3rd consecutive season in the league. They competed in Allsvenskan and Svenska Cupen during the year. League play started in early April and lasted until early November. Jakob Michelsen made his first season as manager. Summary In the off-season, on 18 November 2016, the board chose to sack manager Nanne Bergstrand, citing "a need to get a new voice and new energy into the club's sporting development". Later the same month, Jakob Michelsen was announced as the successor. He joined the club on a three-year deal from the Danish club SønderjyskE. The team had a disappointing run in the 2016-17 Svenska Cupen, getting knocked out in the group stage following a 0–1 away loss against Östersunds FK in a deciding fixture. Hammarby IF Fotbollförening, more commonly known as Hammarby Fotboll or Hammarby ( or, especially locally, ), is a Swedish football club from Stockholm founded in 1915. Östersunds Fotbollsklubb, commonly known simply as Östersunds FK, Östersund () or (especially locally) ÖFK, is a Swedish professional football club located in Östersund, Sweden and since 2022 play in the Swedish second tier, Superettan. Imad Khalili ( ar, عماد خليلي; born 3 April 1987) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or a striker. He is the assistant coach of Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan. Oscar Krusnell
Oscar Krusnell (born 17 February 1999) is a Swedish footballer who plays for IF Brommapojkarna as a left-back. Early life Krusnell was born in Stockholm and grew up in the borough of Årsta. He started his footballing career as a youngster at local club Enskede IK. In 2013, at age 14, he joined the youth system of Allsvenskan club AIK. Birkir Már Sævarsson (born 11 November 1984) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a defender for Úrvalsdeild side Valur. Johan Kristoffer Sellberg-Wiland (born 24 January 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper.
